Are you planning a visit to Disney World during the fall or winter holidays? You might want to consider adding Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to your must-do list. Tickets are on sale now for both of these events. You can purchase tickets in advance here or the day of the event.
The Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a Halloween themed event held in The Magic Kingdom on select nights from 7 p.m. to midnight. This is a separate ticket event so an additional admission ticket is required to attend. Guests are treated to trick-or-treating, a special Halloween themed parade, “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade” and “Happy HalloWishes Fireworks,” Disney characters in costume, themed décor and much more. You may even catch a shot of the Headless Horseman in the parade. He was too fast for me! Not attending the party? You just may catch a glimpse of him as he rides from Fort Wilderness to the Magic Kingdom on MNSSHP nights.
Here are the party dates for 2012:
- September 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28 and 30
- October 4, 5, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30 and 31
- November 2
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is one my favorite special events. It takes place on select nights from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Magic Kingdom throughout the holiday season. The highlights of the night for me are the “Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade” and the special holiday fireworks display. There’s live entertainment throughout the park with your favorite characters all decked out in their holiday finest, “snow” on Main Street, U.S.A. , free hot cocoa and cookies stations are set up throughout the park, festive meet and greets and so much more!
Purchase of an additional event admission ticket is required to attend.
Here are the MVMCP dates for 2012:
November 9, 12, 15, 16, 25, 27, 29 and 30
December 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 21
Tickets are available now for advance purchase for both events. Sometimes they are available the day of the event but don’t count on it as they are both very popular. Early purchase discounts of $10 off are available, as well as DVC discount tickets on certain dates.
