Ringing the Hoop-Dee-Doo Dinner Bell

Wear your best coon skin cap and line up early at the entrance steps for your chance to ring the dinner bell!

Here are 5 tips to help you get the most out of your Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue dinner:

{1} Arrive early…or stay late!
Enjoy the atmosphere of Fort Wilderness and participate in some of these go along activities:
*Pony rides are offered daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM near Pioneer Hall. Riders must be at least 2 years of age, under 80 pounds, no taller than 48 inches and able to hang on by themselves. A parent or guardian must lead the pony at all times. No reservations required. Cash only, $5 each ride.
*Take an old-fashioned, horse-drawn wagon ride on a scenic tour through Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. – The 45 minute ride is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Departs daily at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM (weather permitting) from the front of Pioneer Hall.
*Chip ’N Dale’s Campfire Sing-a-long – Stories, songs and more keep the kids entertained and provide a memorable way to cap off your day. Bring your own blankets and ‘smores fixin’s.

{2} Queue up for the box office sooner rather than later!
Another perk to arriving early is getting ahead of the crowd in the ticket line at the box office – Disney recommends you arrive 40 minutes prior to show time. Better yet, arrange to pick up your tickets at your Resort Concierge Desk.

{3} Wear your best coon skin cap!
Gussy up your family photo session with bandannas for the whole family and coon skin caps for the little ones! Then be sure to line up with your littlest partner at the front steps. One lucky gal or guy will be choosen to ring the dinner bell!

{4} Celebrate!
Celebrations like birthdays, anniversaries and honeymoons can be announced during the show! Be sure to let a Cast Member know when you book your reservations and when you are seated for dinner. Celebration cakes need to be ordered 48 hours in advance.

{5} Take the ferry.
Taking the ferry from the Magic Kingdom boat docks to Fort Wilderness is a fun, easy way travel to Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Once you arrive, continue along the dock to the path, Pioneer Hall will be on your right.
