8 Ways To Celebrate Father’s Day at Walt Disney World

Disney World is the perfect place to celebrate any occasion and here are 8 ways to celebrate Father’s Day:

Animals, Safari, Disney, Walt Disney World, Theme Park, Orlando, Florida, Wild Africa Trek, Father, Fathers Day, Disney Moms, CelebrationFor The Adventurous Dad

An early morning or afternoon safari at Animal Kingdom with the Wild Africa Trek is perfect! Get a behind the scenes tour of Animal Kingdom, taste delicious African inspired food and see the animals up close. This experience needs to be booked in advance and it is not included in general park admission.

For The Competitive Dad

Competitive Dads love to show off their skills and where better to do this than at Splitsville, Disney’s very own bowling alley at Disney Springs. Grab a burger and fries while you’re there and make a night of it!

For The Theatre Lover Dad

A little bit different to your average theatre show, La Nouba presented by Cirque Du Soleil is not to be missed. The whole family will be wowed by this show under the big white tent at Disney Springs. Tickets are available to purchase in advance from the Walt Disney World website or try the box office for last minute cancellations.

For The Golf Loving Dad

How about giving Dad a couple of hours off from the buzz of the parks and letting him play a round of golf on one of Disney’s four golf courses? For the less professional golfer a round at one of the mini-golf courses, Winter Summerland and Fantasia Gardens and Fairways, is always lots of fun!

For The Foodie Dad

Treat Dad to a table service meal either in the parks, at Disney Springs or at one of the Disney resorts. To make it really special, make a fine dining reservation and take your dining experience to the next level. Dining reservations can be made via the Walt Disney World website.

For The Dad That Likes To Have A Laugh

Head to Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge. There’s no better place to have gooDisney, Disney Springs, Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida, Theme Parks, Disney Moms, Fathers Day Activities, Fathers Day, Celebrationd food and good fun – don’t forget to ask for Ketchup!

For The Adrenalin Junkie Dad

Give Dad an early morning surfing lesson at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and he’ll be surfing like a pro in no time. If he’s not a water baby then head to Disney Springs and take a ride on Characters In Flight, the tethered hot air balloon that gives a birds-eye view over Disney.

For The Outdoorsy Dad

The Outdoorsy Dad loves a BBQ and who better to enjoy a BBQ with than the main mouse himself! Head over to The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort for Mickey’s Backyard BBQ. This can be booked 180 days before your arrival and is available on certain Disney Dining Plans.

However you choose to celebrate, we hope your Dad has a very happy Father’s Day!
