Christmas Disney Style

Disney ChristmasIn December 2012, our family spent our first Christmas season at Disney World and then boarded the Disney Dream for our Very Merrytime Christmas Cruise.

Our family loves all things Disney, but Christmastime is our favorite as Disney makes this special season truly magical!  Whether you are enjoying the park decorated for Christmas throughout the day or by night at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney continues to out-do itself with the dream lights on Cinderella’s Castle, the Holiday Wishes Fireworks Extravaganza, Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, delicious treats  and it evens snows on Main Street U.S.A. On our Disney cruise, they continue create that magic that only Disney can create.   As soon as we boarded the Dream, we were filled with Christmas excitement as the entire ship was transformed into a magical Christmastime season.  The ship had many Christmas events throughout the cruise including character meet and greets in Santa outfits, special gifts left in the stateroom, a Christmas Eve Mass, as well as Santa stopping in to visit the kids.  That Christmas Day on DCL, we spent a beautiful, warm day on Castaway Cay complete with Caribbean Christmas music, delicious cookies and hot chocolate, and memories that will last a lifetime.

When you are planning your next Disney vacation, consider booking a visit over Christmas.  It is truly a magical experience!
