Recently Walt Disney World changed some of “the rules” they have for Guests entering the Florida theme parks.
If you are planning a trip to Disney with your family, you will want to review all of the rules and particularly keep these in mind for your visit.
Stroller size does matter. As of May 1, 2019 strollers must fit with the guidelines of 31″ wide and 52″ long or smaller. Stroller Wagons are also no longer permitted.
Loose Ice (like from the Resort ice machines) is allowed, but only if contained in a clear see thru zipped up baggie. Another option for keeping snacks, medicines, etc cool are the reusable ice packs. Remember coolers should be soft sided and no glass allowed in the parks.
As of May 1, the parks will become Smoke-Free. Designated areas will be available outside of the parks, at the Resorts, and in Disney Springs.
For more guideline do’s and don’ts for your upcoming trip, visit Disney’s official page DisneyWorld.com/rules.

Born and raised in the south, I now live in central New Jersey. My days are filled with homeschooling, reading, and ministry work. My son and I are active members of our local church and enjoy camping with the Boy Scouts of America.
We believe every day is a day to celebrate and if you visit our kitchen, you will find us putting sprinkles on everything from pancakes to ice cream! Between baseball games and scouting trips, we enjoy dreaming about our next Disney vacation.
