I love Disney World any time of the year but there is just something about Disney during the Christmas Season. I mean who doesn’t want to drink hot cocoa under fake snow at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party. I personally love starting my Holiday season off this way.
My personal favorite times to visit Disney World during the Holiday season is the weekend after Thanksgiving up until the third week of December. Disney is amazing all the time but when you throw in 9 story Christmas trees and a Gingerbread house so big that it has a store inside it selling Gingerbread cookies it just adds to the magic. It’s really great way to start your Christmas Season.
Here are some of my suggestions, ride the monorail around to all the monorail resorts and look at the trees. Each resort has a unique and beautiful tree and you can rent a golf cart and ride around Fort Wilderness looking at all the Campsites decked out in their Holiday best. The World Showcase in Epcot is a wonderful place to see how the Holidays are celebrated around the world. I would suggest booking a dinner with the Candle light processional dinner package. I also highly suggest Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party there is nothing like seeing Santa ride in the Christmas parade down Main Street USA. The Christmas treats are extra special make sure to stop by the Grand Floridan and get a Gingerbread tile and drink some hot chocolate while looking at the Christmas tree and the lobby smells glorious.
